Thomas Greer Named West Tennessee Vice President by Tennessee Association for Justice
The Tennessee Association for Justice (TAJ) held elections on June 8, 2012, in Memphis, Tennessee at its annual convention. Bryan Capps of Knoxville was elected president of the organization. Bryan Smith of Memphis advanced to president-elect. The association also elected three vice presidents from each grand division of the state, including Thomas Greer of Memphis, Eric Buchanan of Chattanooga, and Jon Peeler of Nashville.
The purpose of TAJ is to uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States, to promote the administration of justice for the public good, and to advance the cause of those who are damaged in person or property.

Nashville ― The Tennessee Association for Justice recently elected Bryan Capps as president for the 2012‐13 term. Capps, a Knoxville attorney, replaces Keith Williams of Lebanon who served as president from 2012‐13. Williams now assumes the role of immediate past president and Bryan Smith of Memphis advances to president‐elect.
A graduate of Carson‐Newman College, the University of Tennessee M.B.A. program and the University of Tennessee College Of Law, Capps brings a wealth of experience to the organization. His practice areas include personal injury, medical malpractice, workers compensation and business torts, and he currently practices at the Adams Law Firm in Knoxville. Capps supports Tennessee’s veterans by volunteering his time as an Obumdsman for the Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve program. He was selected by Cityview Magazine as the top Knoxville attorney for personal injury and products liability in 2010‐2012.

Elections were held at the TAJ annual convention in Chattanooga on Friday, June 8, 2012. The association also elected three vice presidents from each grand division of the state including Eric Buchanan of Chattanooga, Jon Peeler of Nashville, and Thomas Greer of Memphis. Other elected officers are as follows Bruce Fox of Clinton, secretary; Rocky McElhaney of Nashville, treasurer; and Matt Hardin of Nashville, parliamentarian.
Since graduating magna cum laude in 2005 from the University of Memphis School of Law, Thomas has helped make a difference in the lives of victims of serious personal injury, wrongful death, and professional negligence.
